Sniper Elite 2 Gameplay Review

Like its predecessor, the Sniper Elite V2 is set for the final days of WWII. You are an American sniper sent to stop the Russians from capturing Nazi scientists. Naturally, things don't go according to plan and you have to improve. The story unfolds in well-acted voice overs and perfectionist cut scenes, which provide a reasonable background for your mission. The solid surface design makes good use of the layout, as bombed buildings and barricaded roads provide many good hiding places for a sniper alone. Not surprisingly, PC players get a much better-looking version of Destroyed Berlin, which enjoys crisp details and beautiful skies, while Xbox 360 owners deal with softer, more muted visuals.
But before you start blowing things up, you need to be as quiet as possible. Crouching everywhere is tiring, but loud footsteps attract the attention of opponents, and even an enemy in close quarters can wreak havoc on a delicate sniper. You can often make good progress with cowardly rioting, silent pistol bullets, and timely rifle reports masked by the sound of exploding bombs or bells. Guards usually act in a predictable way that you can take advantage of, or you can approach them for a clean slate. While your SMG and pistol are the best companions, your rifle is a franchise player. Bullets to the head and torso usually kill or disable your enemies. You can improve your target by exhaling slowly, which reduces the time and zooms in a bit. If your goal is right, you will be rewarded with one of the many awesome and hilarious camera shots that Sniper Elite V2 lovingly presents. The camera tracks the tablet and gives you a seat in the front row for the moment of impact. Sometimes you just see the bullet enter and exit the body, leaving behind a bloating external wound. More dramatic moments present an X-ray scene in which the bullet breaks the bones and tears the limbs very slowly. They are brutal and unwarranted (maybe too much, for some people), but even after beating for hours, they never grow old.
Things get harder once your enemies put garlands on you. They come to your position and shoot at you. Their random advance can make it difficult to kill them, but just because they are moving does not mean they are moving smartly. Pedestrians occasionally walk back and forth, while counter-snipers occasionally fire in the front window. This is when Sniper Elite V2 stops feeling like a proper snapping game and starts to feel like a flawed shooting gallery.
A mounted machine gun is a powerful weapon, but despite the mountain of corpses nearby, watching the enemies use these places carelessly can completely alleviate the shortcomings of AI. When a fresh crop of enemies spreads and settles impossible areas in the area you've just cleared, it feels like someone has rearranged the gallery for the next round. And when cars spin on their gas tanks with big, shiny red caps, you'll be forgiven for wondering if the sinking yellow ducks are far behind. This feeling is exacerbated by general difficulty. You can easily hit a sniper, use visual aids to locate it, take it in sight, and take it out long before it hits. It's not easy, but you realize that you only die when you are careless. Difficulty shifts the balance to the other side. If you are unable to get an enemy sniper, calculate the bullet drop, compensate for the wind, and quickly fire, the enemy sniper will take you out. Even a sub-machine gun infantryman can be deadly from afar. With objective support and enemy tagging off, this difficult careful planning makes necessary and successful shots even sweeter.
The campaign is long, lasting more than 10 hours, and can be run with online collaboration. There are other variations of the game for two players, including Kill Tally, in which you fight the increasingly fierce waves of enemies, and Bombing Run, in which you go out of the main point to retrieve aircraft parts. Go out This two-player campaign missions is a fun collaboration based on P.

Every mission begins secretly. You are behind enemy lines, and your only ally is the weapons and ammunition you carry with you. You can carry a rifle, a sub-machine gun, and a side arm, and although you unlock new weapons as you progress, the differences are small. Your choice of explosives is more important. Trip wires, landmines, ammunition, and grenades all fly in different ways, and having enough power to set up an extra trap or pull out a cluster of advancing enemies can be a big help.
