The Henry Stickmin Gameplay Review
I was somehow completely unfamiliar with the Henry Stickman series until I recently saw The Henry Stickmin Collection on Steam and picked it up. This review is based entirely on the newcomers to the series and the collection as a whole. If you don't know, these are Made Cap short interactive cartoons where experimenting and choosing options is as much fun as solving the keeper.
The collection consists of six episodes, the last one being brand new. The previous five had revived all their voices and backgrounds and the original 'Break the Bank' has also been reactivated. In terms of technical features, after seeing the original screenshots - the collection is a big step while maintaining the same sense of stackman's naughty deeds. The actual gameplay remains untouched and that is the essence of the crown.Each screen of each episode has a wide branching path of scenarios. For example, after raiding a piece of jewelry you want to avoid the police and you will have a variety of icon or inventory based options to choose from. It's rarely one of the two options - it's often up to six - and half of them kill you in amazing humorous ways. Henry Stickmin entertains by calling your base Sleep Stick comedy that has been running with Deadpan Delivery and Offer Crazy War Stunts since the inception of Black & White Cinema. The more ridiculous it is, the more likely you are to find time travel, aliens, laser beams, gun chase, and running through the days of impossible physics. Every time you die, it is added to your collection and you are given a slap message. Depending on the design, Death One is able to collect and it forces you to find multiple paths, test different options and really discover how you can reach one of three or four multiple endings. Are There are also multiple endings per episode. Replayability and playing the game as a group are also key to its success. Put someone who knows what will happen next who doesn't and you're both laughing but for different reasons. It is rare to find a game that unites people under a comic banner, just as Henry does when he dies again.
If you're looking for a story, there's still something to be done, but it's comedy. The characters reappear, indicating a potential love interest depending on the path you choose, and a general good versus evil battle.
Technically, the game warns you not to run the game on full screen as it may cause some problems in click mapping but I have to say that I have encountered one problem during my playtime till date. Did not The episodes themselves are short and sweet - less than 5 minutes each if you know the right way. However, it will take a long time to discover this path and experience everything as repeated attempts and failures. There are very different stories in the finale, depending on some choices at the beginning of the episode. You can really see how the scope, mini-games, size and graphical details of the series have increased in all the episodes. I don't think I can make a choice - they all have some great moments.
So if you need to laugh and you sadly want to see someone fail in the style of Looney Toons - Henry Stickman Collection is a game of choice.
